Mojo Blues

Talk-concert about the relationship between blues and magic, occultism, superstition, mojo, hoodoo...

Sorcerers, wizards and pacts with the devil will be the protagonists of this day.

The conductor of the talk will be Héctor Martínez, who since 2007 has combined a research activity and disseminator of the blues (articles, stories, talks, radio programs, conferences in penitentiary centers) with the activity above the scenarios as harmonist of the group The Forty Nighters. He currently collaborates with different musicians from the Madrid blues scene.

He will be accompanied by Fernando Beiztegui, singer and guitarist. This bluesman of Granada and currently settled in Madrid, is pure passion and authentic feeling. His mastery of the guitar and his harrowing voice have made Fernando Beiztegui have participated in many blues festivals: XXVI Antequera Blues Festival (Málaga), Leganés Blues Festival 2015 (Madrid), Burlada Blues Festival, Blues Festival of La Herradura, VI Sweet Cotton Blues Festival, Baños de la Encina Festival (Jaén), XXVII Jazz Festival on the Coast, XXV International Jazz Festival of Granada to name a few.
