The public has remained faithful and has packed all the appointments in all stages; the festival has had an audience of close to a hundred thousand throughout the four days.

Hondarribia closed a new edition of its blues festival last night. After the awaited Raimundo Amador, the stars of the contest shone together in the most intimate session of the festival.

Hondarribia faces its closing day with very high standards and exclusive sessions: the magnificent Chicago All Stars, Raimundo Amador, the triple Mingo-Coloma-Simón and his Blues Express and, of course, the improvisational madness of the Jam Session.

Today, at 7:00 p.m. On San Pedro Street, there will be a special surprise at the festival and it's called: New Orleans Jazz Funeral.

Hondarribia expects an influx of 100,000 people in its four days of blues and today, Saturday, will be one of the busiest in view of the exclusive and unrepeatable appointments that the program holds for today.

Today: the French group Awek, from Bilbao: Still River and the super blues group Golden State-Lone Star Blues Revue, along with the leader of the band, Mark Hummel. And to finish, fourteen of the best blues interpreters of the Spani scene in the Crossroad

Issue number thirteen could not have started better, with an extraordinary concert by the legendary band Canned Heat and the awarding of this year's honorary prize to two of its members: Fito de la Parra and Larry Taylor.
