Eric Burdon, formerly of The Animals, to receive the Blues Hondarribia 2013 award
The singer and composer Eric Burdon, famous for having been the leader and singer of the band The Animals in the 1960s and who achieved great success with items like The House of the Rising Sun, will be receiving the Blues Hondarribia 2013 prize during the 8th edition of the Hondarribia Blues Festival.
Burdon, who embarked on his solo career in 1971, will be arriving in Hondarribia with his new band to present “Til your river runs dry”, his most personal work so far.
Eric Burdon will be performing on stage at La Benta on Sunday 14 July at 20:30. Free entrance
