Jimmy Barnatán & The Cocooners

Versatile from the cradle, Jimmy Barnatán born in Santander in 1981, but feels Argentinan and New Yorker, city ??where he spent part of adolescence and he drank his musical tastes.

Best known so far as an actor, Jimmy is an excellent musician. As a writer, he has published two novels and he has worked for three years in the online edition of daily El Mundo.

At 11 he began his career singing and performing the rock opera "Les Miserables" in the Broadway Production made in Madrid.

In 1995 he debuted in cinema with Alex de la Iglesia, in the movie "The Day of the Beast" and since then, he has appeared in nearly 20 films. "Torrente" " The Heart of the Warrior "," Visionaries "and" The Biggest Robbery Never Told ", among others…

As a songwriter and singer Jimmy began more than ten years ago, always influenced by American music that has followed him throughout his life. As a vocalist has been involved in several bands where his blues and soul voice was the main protagonist. The Soul, Blues and Rythm&Blues live in his throat.

In 2009 recorded in Madrid studios Sonoland, "BLACK NOTE" his first work, produced by Carlos Martos and Ruben Ortiz Bubby, and served as a business card in March 2010 with a concert at the legendary pub Clamores in Madrid. Then arrived the music tour throughout Spain.

In September 2011 published "AFTER THE TIMES BLUES" his first album available to the public, which reached all corners of the country and which showed that he´s not only a popular actor. He is a great musician who also  acts ...

Now comes back with "The Cocooners" to load "Room 13" His new blues & rock album mixed and mastered at Berklee, Boston. Is a very personal work that combines five original songs with 6 radiosequences in the style of the 50s he presents a Blues tale with a beginning, middle and end ...
