After four intense days of festival, from the organisation of the Hondarribia Blues Festival (HBF) we have a more than positive outcome of what this twelfth edition has been.
The opening day on Thursday, the 13th, began to set the tone for what would be the rest of the days with a full house for the first performances, especially from the veteran Zac Harmon that raised the bar of the musical quality to very high standards.
The guitar players Kenny Neal, JW Jones, Charlie Baty himself also had star performances and we were able to listen to powerful voices like those of Willie Walker the James Brown Original Band or the young and energetic Annika Chambers, just to name a few
With the city completely packed with visitors and blues fans from many cities throughout Spain, Europe and America, the Hondarribia Blues faced the rest of the day with a busy schedule that brought the rhythm and passion for the blues from the stages of La Benta, by the sea, to the picturesque calle San Pedro or the most spectacular Arma plaza.
During the four days, the moments of communion between audience and artists were common, both in the streets of the city as in the different stages, without a doubt, one of the hallmarks of the event.
