Youth and experience for a blues day

The day starts early, at 11:00 am, in the Itsas Etxea auditorium with the lecture “Mojo Blues. Superstition in the blues”. The moderator will be Héctor Martínez, musician and researcher of the blues, who will be accompanied by Fernando Beiztegui.

The always lively popular barbecue will have an exceptional dessert with The Black Snakes and the Igor Prado Band. You won't want to miss it!

The atmosphere and the musical quality continue in the late evening. At 8:00 pm, on the Carlsberg stage of the plaza de Armas, the Headline Blues Band will perform, some Swedes who know what they are doing and whose music is a mix of West Coast blues, Northern Soul and New Orleans sexy music.

And at the same time, but at the Coca Cola stage of calle San Pedro, the genuine and artisanal music of Marco Machi and The Mojo Workers.

The large evening menu opens with the White Towels Blues Band at 9:00 pm. And from 10:30 pm, two vibrant guitars: JW Jones and Charlie Baty, this year's award-winning, will share stage at the Benta.

To end a Saturday filled with blues, fans will be able to enjoy The James Brown Original Band that has a comprehensive repertoire of the concerts of the brilliant artist.
