Bayou Moonshiners

Stephanie Ghizzoni and Max Lazzarin, were been separately on the most important stages in Italy and Europe. They performed both as band leader of various formations even in collaborations or opening act for some of the biggest names in black music. Finally, In 2015 they decided to join forces by creating the Bayou Moonshiners, piano, snare and two voices entries with the the style of New Orleans in a real never ending international tour full of success and satisfaction, first of all the first prize ’Italian Blues Challenge 2016 that will see them as Italian representatives to' European Blues Challenge that was held in Denmark in April 2017.

Their show was closing the first night of this big event as a great success, with all the audience deeply involved below the stage and the jury members astonished by their energy and passion. Max and Steph resume and play songs ranging from the traditional to the most modern as well as to propose their own songs. It will be easy then to hear a gospel of Mahalia Jacksonfollowed by a song unreleased or a tribute to Professor Longhair ... obviously all seasoned in a sound and two voices perfectly recognizable and original ... spiced and perfumed by 'unmistakable spirit of New Orleans!
